Major Bruce Hill: MBE, M.I.D, RNZIR, NZSAS

Hill, Bruce, Major, MBE, M.i.D, RNZIR and NZSAS. Served in the Malayan Emergency, Indonesian Confrontation and Vietnam War.  Beloved husband of the late Erin, loving father of Gregory, the late Justin, Jason and Carol-Lynn.  Treasured grandfather of Hamish, Ilana, Sarah, Ekko, Campbelle, Abby and Ethan, and great grandfather to Emma and Ella. Loved father-in-law to Kate, Katrina and Nik. Bruce was a past President of the Hamilton Rotary Club (1983), The Hamilton Officer’s Club (1979) and the Claudelands Bowling Club (1999). Bruce, 93 years old, died on Sat 8th Feb, peacefully and surrounded by all his children and grandchildren.
