These grants are designed to support grass roots organisations contributing to our communities through tireless efforts, often using their own time and resources to make Hamilton a better place.
During our 2024 campaign to celebrate the coming together of Hamilton’s two most established funeral companies into one, we were determined to give back to the community that had supported us so well for so many years. We ran a special promotion where we gave away five $1,000 sponsorships to local ‘grass roots’ organisations who were making a huge difference in our community. The response was overwhelming, with 100’s of heartfelt nominations form the public showcasing the incredible work, dedication, and impact of these groups. It would have been great to support each and every organisation of course and while practically we were unable to do that we were able to add 6 additional sponsorships – 2 for $500 and four for $250.
This promotion has become the precursor of our Community Support Fund which we are so very proud to introduce to the local community.
