DARE, Patricia Ruth (formerly Watkins)

Born Te Puke, 2 October 1931. Died at home in Hamilton after a short illness on 27 March 2026. Daughter of Harold and Mildred Dare and sister to Anne Holden, Peter Dare, and Priscilla Owers (all deceased). Much loved mother to Alison (Hamilton), Rachel, and Gregory (Australia), mother-in-law to Patrick, Sam, and Li. Darling Nana to Daniel, Benjamin and Jonathan Hawthorn and to Kate and Alexander Hartstone. As per her wishes, a cremation has taken place. A celebration of mum’s life will be held at The White Rose Chapel, 75 Cook Street, Hamilton East at 3 pm, Friday 10 April. Our thanks to the care Mum received from Enliven and Hospice.
