Richard (Rich) John Hines

Richard Passed away peacefully on Friday 17 July 2026, aged 69. Much loved husband of Nicola, dearly loved father of Matthew, Brendon, Alistair and Jackson, and cherished Gran-dad to Matilda, Aurora and Austin.

A true character with a sharp wit, a great sense of humour, and a knack for doing things his own way, Rich will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Rich’s life will be held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Hamilton, on Wednesday 22 July at 1.03pm, followed by refreshments at Fergus Bar & Kitchen, Roto-tuna from 2.30pm. A livestream link will be available for those unable to attend go to pel-lowandhillfunerals.co.nz
