Joan Winnifred Joyce

Passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital after a long and courageous battle with illness, surrounded by her loving family. She fought with remarkable strength and courage right to her final breath. After many wonderful holidays and adventures around the world, she has now embarked on her final journey.

Dearly loved wife of the late Doug. Cherished mother of the late Karyn, and Lisa and Zane. Adored “Joanie” to Tayla.

Loved sister of Gail and Peter (Vancouver), and Linley and Mike (Raglan). Much-loved sister-in-law of Lyn & the late Gordon and family (Dunedin).

Forever loved and deeply missed.

Funeral will be held on Tuesday 23rd June at 2pm at St Peter’s Cathedral, 51 Victoria Street, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Waikato Hospice.
