Pedal for Prostate

Some decisions are made with careful planning and consideration. This was not one of them.

Shane and I have officially committed to cycling around the Hampton Downs Racetrack for four hours to raise funds and awareness for those living with prostate cancer. Now, neither of us could be described as “elite athletes”, and it’s fair to say our bodies are already questioning our life choices.

Still, when there’s a good cause involved, we’re always happy to get behind it, even if it means spending four hours questioning our fitness levels and discovering muscles we didn’t know existed.

And before anyone asks, yes, there will be lycra. No, it’s not going to be pretty. Some things can’t be unseen.

If you’d like to support us, cheer us on, or simply laugh at the thought of two funeral directors attempting to channel their inner Tour de France cyclists, we’d love your support.

“Built for compassion, not cardio.”
