Pellow & Hill Hits the Expo

The Hamilton Women’s Lifestyle Expo was a fantastic opportunity for the Pellow & Hill team to get out into the community, meet new people, and have some meaningful conversations.

With so many exciting stalls, businesses, and local organisations under one roof, there was a real buzz throughout the weekend. We loved connecting with visitors and answering the many questions people had about funeral planning, pre-paid funerals, and what happens when a loved one dies.

One of the most rewarding parts of the expo was creating a relaxed environment where people felt comfortable asking questions that they may not otherwise have had the opportunity to discuss.

We believe that having open conversations about funeral planning can help remove some of the uncertainty and stress that families face during difficult times. It was encouraging to see so many people keen to learn more about their options and take positive steps towards planning ahead.

Of course, one of our biggest talking points was the Harley-Davidson Hearse, which attracted plenty of attention throughout the weekend. It sparked numerous conversations about personalising funeral services and celebrating loved ones in ways that truly reflect who they were. We are proud to be able to offer this unique option to Hamilton families and to help create meaningful farewells that honour individual lives and passions.

As if the weekend couldn’t get any better, we also found ourselves positioned right next door to the wonderful team from May Hounds Greyhound Rehoming. This meant we were lucky enough to spend the weekend getting to know Ollie, a retired greyhound whose gentle nature and soulful eyes quickly stole the hearts of our team.

Let’s just say Ollie may have been a little too convincing with his charm, and there is a very real possibility that an adoption application has found its way into the May Hounds inbox. Watch this space!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to say hello. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with our community, answer questions, and share a few laughs along the way.
